This power box is meant for use with 24V AC cameras or in cases where you need to run power to your cameras longer than the 300ft a 12V power box will let you run. If you want to run power up to 700ft to 12V cameras, this 25amp 24V AC power box is a perfect choice when combined with a 24 to 12V down converter.
