When we say Super Mini PTZ, we mean SUPER MINI PTZ! Most PTZ cameras you will find are big and clunky, this one is small and sleek. It is only 5 inches and diameter, making it great for use indoors or outdoors. It is not only weatherproof, but vandalproof as well; so you can rest assured it will put up a fight before anyone will be able to take it off the wall. A very tough mini PTZ camera indeed. Even with its small size, it has all the capabilities of its larger speed dome PTZ counterparts. It can pan full 360 degrees continuously, and has a 0-90 degree tilt with auto flip. You can look right below the camera thanks to this tilt feature. It's fast too when it comes to moving, with speeds up to 160 degrees per second for pan, and 90 degrees per second tilt. Zoom capabilities in this camera are impressive also, it features a 100x zoom (10x optical with 3.8 to 38mm Lens, and 10x digital).
As far as video quality goes, this little guy does not disappoint. This is a High Resolution Color Camera with a 1/4 inch SONY CCD image sensor that provides crisp video images. It features a spectacular 540 TV Lines of resolution in color mode and 570 TVL when the camera switches to black and white mode at night. The camera has a very low lux rating of 0.02 Lux, meaning you will be able to see at night in black and white mode even when the only light is coming from the moon. Like all our speed dome cameras, it supports multiple PTZ protocols through its RS485 interface, including PELCO-D and PELCO-P. You can rest assured this will work with any of our PTZ Controllers or DVRs with PTZ control. This camera runs off of 12V DC, the same as a stationary camera.
