The W2424VP Color Weather Proof and Vandal Proof dome camera made out of metal is perfect for places where the camera may be in reach of people. The Vandal Resistant metal casing is high impact resistant, so it can withstand a blow from a bat on the metal part of the camera, and makes it almost impossible to remove the camera from its mounting plate once installed unless you have the right tools. This camera is also Water Proof and Weather Proof with an IP66 rating. That means it can withstand a lot of rain and snow without ever having water leakage. Don't be fooled by other lower priced cameras on the market that claim to be IP66 rated, but in fact are not.

The SONY 480 TV Line Resolution CCD on this camera provides excellent image quality during day and night, with facial clarity up to 22ft when used with a D1 DVR, and 60ft of night vision to see in complete darkness. The camera has a 3.6mm lens to provide a 70 degree angle of view.
